Make way for Volkswagen Bettle!

A mixture of two flavors - 6 banana with pumpkin seeds cupcakes and 6 lemon with poppyseeds cupcakes. How to differentiate them? :) Well, I spread cream cheese on lemon cupcakes and chocolate ganache on banana cupcakes (ala banana choco wtf). I'm sure it's gonna taste amazing! *slurp*

This cupcake was ordered by my friend cum colleague, in conjunction with her boyfriend's daddy belated birthday. ;) Doesn't matter that it's late, just as long as you got the heart to remember his birthday...

Ehem, I'm still waiting for my dear friend to COD from my house. It's already 9:15 pm and she's still not arriving yet! Argh...

A high-school senior of mine ordered cuppy cakes with smiley faces! :) Instead of 2 smiley faces, I gave her one smiling and one winking. Smileys were drawn using edible decorating gel in Black, from Wilton.

There are few items which are a MUST for her cuppy cakes order: Smileys, a sweet message bearing the magical words "Happy Birthday My Love" and most importantly a piggy.

She even told me that "If 6 pieces of cupcakes can't fit 'Happy Birthday My Love', you change to 12 pieces cupcake set". This shows that how important the message is to her! :) Sweet...

Oops I forgot to gently wipe off the icing sugar on the fondant before I snap. ;)


Hope you (she wanna remain anonymous) loved them as much as I do!

Dolphin's Love

My bestie, Rose ordered a set of cupcakes filled with love, for her boyfriend of course... BUT with a condition: she would like to lend her hand to prepare them too. Rose want to stand proud and tell her boyfriend that she played a part in making this cupcakes too. :D Ain't Rose sweet?

I was reluctant at first, but come to think of the fun we gonna have, I agreed to her "condition". Taadaa... this are the results:

It suppose to look like dolphin, but apprently I think it turn out to be sharks?!?

Piggy's Birthday

Two days in a row that I (and sweetie) have been making cupcakes. Today, I prepared for Tsu Ann. She ordered 6 pieces vanilla cupcakes and topped with cute piggy faces. Here are the results:

Uncle Gan, it's your birthday!

A dear friend of mine, Kelly, ordered 12 pieces of cupcakes to celebrate her dad's (aka Uncle Gan) birthday. Yesh, she came back all the way from Kuantan, Pahang to celebrate her dad's birthday.

What Kelly ordered: A dad figurine, a cigarette (cos her dad smokes), a screwdriver (which reflects her dad's profession) and 4D lottery docket (her dad's interest, which erm... same as my mum too :D). I even give Uncle Gan a "special lucky" number, 8868 ("fatt fatt lou fatt"); which means "constant prosperity". ;)

Happy Birthday Bestie!

Aunt Mary ordered a dozen of chocolate cuppy cakes for her son's best friend's birthday which falls on 9 April. Aunt Mary leave the decoration to my creativity (thanks Aunt Mary!) and this is what I came out with:

Rich chocolate cupcakes spread with chocolate ganache, decorated with alphabets made of fondant and sprinkled with color sprinkles and silver dragees.

Best friend forever, YS! :)

This is our first time with human figurines and it's a challenge for us! In the end, we've made it! Phew~ and we are happy with the outcome product!
